Fedan Investments Ltd was incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission in the year 1994. At the time, the company was dealing on Tokunbo motor spare parts and later Tokunbo refrigerators. When GSM was introduced in Nigeria during the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo, the Chairman quickly drifted into the mobile phone accessories business. He took the bull by horns, without recourse he started travelling to both Dubai and China.

This time travelling to China he decided to run with his name (brand) – FIL. Gradually, FIL products started getting its market share and very encouraging. At this time, he collapsed the fridge shop and pulled resources over to Alaba International market – the largest electronics market in West Africa.

The company got fully engaged in the importation and distribution of FIL Mobile Phone Accessories, and after a while CCTV Gadgets and Electricals.

Within a short span of time the company scaled phenomenal heights due to her quality products, professionalism, prompt and steady supply of products. Unfortunately, at the wake of 2017 precisely in January, the erudite and dynamic business man, MR. DANIEL OKWUCHUKWU CHINEMELUM with his dear wife, MRS. FELICIA CHIDINMA CHINEMELUM was involved in ghastly road motor accident that claimed their lives.

Their exit brought in the current seasoned administrator, DR. STEPHEN AMECHI CHINEMELUM (FCIA) as the Managing Director and MR. TONY EMEKA CHINEMELUM as the Deputy Managing Director. This duo are wonderful innovators. They have taken the company to a greater height which is in public domain.

The duo of DR. STEPHEN AMECHI CHINEMELUM (FCIA) and MR. TONY EMEKA CHINEMELUM have since 2017, transformed the company and reposition it to be one of the best in the business all over Nigeria and Africa through adopting international standard management and strict quality control to ensure they maintain their watch word “THINK QUALITY, THINK FIL”. Through their efforts, the company didn’t lose track of their vision and mission statements by opening FIL DISTRIBUTION POINTS in areas like ONITCHA, ABUJA, ACCRA GHANA, etc.

With the doggedness the new Directors, FIL acquired 30% share capital of OTP UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB in FINLAND which is affiliated to FIL FOOTBALL ACADEMY.
